Rosés are thriving at Vignobles Bonfils

Spring has taken hold of our estates. Despite the unexpected cold snap we have had to contend with, new buds and greenery are gradually covering our glorious landscapes. This magnificent season, which symbolises renewal, also heralds in the rosé season, offering us the opportunity to present you two wines with very distinctive characters.

Rosé de Vaugelas, blessed by the Occitanian sunshine

With its sublime pale pink hue, captured in its elegantly designed, Art Deco-inspired bottle, this wine offers instant visual appeal. It is the Vaugelas – Le Rosé. Behind the gilding of its floral motif, you will discover its pronounced, refined red fruit accents on the nose and its very fresh, indulgent flavours.

Lycia by Capitoul, the seaside rosé wine

Again driven by fruit flavours, augmented by mineral notes, Capitoul – Lycia is another of the rosés we have created this year. It stems from a blend of Grenache noir, Cinsault and Syrah, whose aromas have been carefully preserved. From red fruits through to tropical fruits, Lycia rosé displays hallmark richness and spicy, mineral and saline characters. This is a cool wine, mirroring its provenance!

Two labels featured in the spring wine festivals

Both Vaugelas Rosé on a sunny terrace and Lycia by Capitoul beside the Mediterranean Sea will sit well on your table and, we hope, offer a palate-pleasing experience. In fact, if you visit our website, you will find our suggestions for pairing our wines with food. Both wines show well either as an aperitif or with food, from starter to pudding.

Labelled under the Languedoc appellation, these rosés offer the promise of fun-filled moments and can be found in supermarkets and hypermarkets at preferential price points during the spring in-store wine festivals. Be sure not to miss out! ;-)

Vignobles Bonfils wishes you a great spring season!
